What are we, if not love manifested in the physical? Can you define yourself in anyway more salient – more real – then love? For what is a child, without the love of the family? What is a man, but not the love of his tribe? We are, at base, social creatures. Therefore, we are defined by our relations. Love defines our constitution; Love defines our existence – our meaning. Why then, does modernity not prize love? Why do we not witness its power; For love is the strongest force; It escapes time, repels gravity – nothing is stronger. We allow our conscious mind, the ego, And all its power, to define our reality. But we forget our minds power; For it defines the reality you perceive. Therefore, I find it most curious: Why not teach love? Why leave it to chance? Why leave some unloved? We run from this, because of what it demands. We all know that love sees through, It cuts us deeper then all; No pain is real without love. Instead we decide to embellish freedom. But what good does freedom do, If it allows some the freedom to not love? Is that a price we want to pay? For no one knows the pain; The suffering of loneliness, More then the unloved child. They, know its power. I find myself most estranged. The world I inherited, The Journey we faced, Has taken us to a strange place. We forget our most basic; Most primordial self. What are we: If not life, loving life. Therefore, love! She is all that is real; We are nothing without it; Love defines all; How does it: Define you?
