To be or not to be, A phrase that has stuck to me; Sometimes when I look out at the sea, I ponder about the world, and all whom is on thee. The existential question: to live or to die, Life is all we know, all we’ve seen with our eye, Yet this dark unknown world, something tempting to try, Eternal slumber or heaven, a place where angels can fly. Sometimes, I hope the former over the ladder, A place to rest peacefully, not to gather, I’ve had my piece, its been quite a lather, The pain it would cause, quite the batter. To ponder such question, Over looking the sea, deeper then you thought. Sometimes I wonder, was life worth all it ought: To be.
To be or not to be – That is the question
